Maybe an event where it has the staff lined up and 5 random players get to chose their favorite staff members. The one with the most likes wins.

Yeah, but what happens after?does that staff member get to choose what bonus they want for all players online or something?

Well with his post it made me thing, If simon had the time he could make an npc that let players vote 1 time every day for their favorite staff member (staff members cannot vote). At the end of the week the winning staff member gets a top staff member halo

They get a reward on the forums. A custom title name "Most Favored GM"

Hmm yeah, never seen servers giving events like that FOR the staff... only for the players.
